FileOrganiser’s aim is to provide an alternative to Windows Explorer, the default file manager that Windows has to offer. You see, this is a free, portable, and quite useful file manager. You can use it to view your data, easily access your data, conveniently move your data from one location to another, and so on.

Download a 4.5MB executable, run it, and a wizard will show up and help you get FileOrganiser up and running on your PC. There is one important bit of information that must be mentioned here: FileOrganiser is portable. So if you “install” it on a portable storage device, you can take FileOrganiser with you when you need to go somewhere.

FileOrganiser has a multi-panel interface, which is just what one would expect from an application of this type. From the View menu you can customize said interface. And more to the point, you can choose which elements will be displayed on the interface.

FileOrganiser provides all the functionality you would expect from a file manager: easily browse your drives and access your files; create new folders, delete existing ones; copy/paste/move files from one location to another; rename multiple files; and more. As mentioned above, FileOrganiser is a free application. So all this functionality is offered to you for the great price of free.

Efficiently manage your files by using FileOrganiser, a free and portable file manager for Windows-powered machines.

Pros

A wizard will help you get FileOrganiser up and running; the application is portable. FileOrganiser has a familiar multi-panel interface; you can choose which elements will be displayed on the interface. Use the application to efficiently manage your files: delete files, cut/copy/paste files, open files, rename multiple files, and more. FileOrganiser is freeware; you can use it for free for as long as you want.

Cons

None that I could think of.
